I have practiced massage and bodywork professionally since 2005. My professional path reflects my own personal development and embodiment journey.
Invisible things and things hiding in plain sight fascinate me. Beginning early in my life, this fascination led me to study and achieve in many humanistic fields of inquiry and development. Bodywork allows me to help others and make practical the mystery I so enjoy exploring.
I value showing up for life as much as possible and have a passion for empowerment and individuation through body-centered activity. Any human being trying to alleviate their pain, or trying to wake up has my compassion. The human birthright of a natural, shame-free, and authentic personal experience of self is reliably available through the body. So I manage my professional practice as a safe space of mutual dignity and development, allowing me to connect my interests and passion to the individual in need.
Though there were many good reasons, I ultimately became a Rolfer/bodyworker because Rolfing helped me more than just about anything else. It helped to decrease the daily pain I experienced from mild scoliosis and major disembodiment. Receiving this work has helped me awaken my body and it’s inherent intelligence. Though I still have work to do, the bodywork process has raised me to a whole new level, and my entire experience has changed for the better. I experience joy in my life as a result. This is what I want to help other people discover for themselves.
Born and raised in Texas, I respect and love all the world’s citizens regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation. I enjoy spending my days with my wife-type, our family, friends and pets.
